Gate Scientific’s new Temperature Logger Reports Directly to Smartphone App or Database
Milpitas, CA: Ahead of the SLAS2022 conference in Boston, MA, Gate Scientific has announced the new smartTRACK Submersible Temperature Logger, which builds on their portfolio of smartSENSE monitors. Hermetically sealed but measuring only two and a quarter inches in length, smartTRACK continuously records temperature data in cold-chain shipments such as diagnostic samples, pharmaceutical products, and even human organs. Because the monitor can be sterilized with heat and steam prior to use, it may be placed in the innermost layer of packaging, directly adjacent to sensitive material such as donor organs, without the risk of contamination or infection that would accompany use of traditional temperature loggers.
Join us at Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA from February 5th through the 9th, where you can find Gate Scientific in booth #1830 of the expo hall.
After two years of collaboration exclusively via e-mail and video chat, we’re eager to show you—in person!—how our line of smartSENSE pH, temperature, and spin-sensing stir bars can streamline your process, allow remote monitoring and recording of procedures that you’re currently documenting by hand, and provide unparalleled precision to applications ranging from buffer formulation to closed chamber reactions.
SLAS2022 will feature nine educational tracks, poster sessions, an exhibition hall, and plentiful networking opportunities. Attendees will be required to wear masks and provide proof of vaccination status.
We would love to see you there!
Gate Scientific brings wireless smartSENSE® family of temperature, pH, and spin sensing stir bars to the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening’s 2022 conference
Boston, MA: Gate Scientific, Inc of Milpitas, CA will demo their innovative line of smartSENSE® stir bars at the SLAS2022 laboratory automation and screening conference, taking place at Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from February 5th to the 9th. The wireless smartSENSE platform consists of wireless stir bars used for temperature, pH, and spin sensing, as well as the state-of-the-art digital programmable chemical lab station for heating, stirring, wireless sensing, remote control, and monitoring.
Press Release, Milpitas, June 29, 2021
Milpitas, CA: On June 15th, the National Science Foundation awarded Milpitas startup, Gate Scientific, a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 2 grant for their “smartSENSE” wireless sensor technology.
smartSENSE technology allows common chemical and biological sensors to be miniaturized and made wireless. These tiny sensors can be incorporated into existing equipment, such as magnetic stirbars commonly used to mix chemical reactions. To date, smartSENSE sensors have been developed to measure temperature, spin rate, and pH (acidity/alkalinity.)
Press Release, Milpitas, March 3, 2020
Gate Scientific, Inc (www.gatescientific.com), is continuing to lead the way in wireless sensing and IoT for laboratory applications with their smartSENSE technology. The wireless pHlive™ stir bar is now available for delivery and together with the GEN2 WiFi smartSENSE digital programmable base station it will fully eliminate the need for a bulky pH meter in the chemistry lab.
Small Business Innovation Research Program Provides Seed Funding for R&D of its patented wireless smartSENSE® pH & temperature sensing stir bar.
